May 31 (Interfax China) – China imported 42.85 million tons of iron ore in April, up 20.08 percent from the previous month, while imports in the first four months of the year increased 14.94 percent from the same period last year to 153.49 million tons, according to statistics recently released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC).
